Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas starting Feb 9, 2026. This position offers a flexible schedule of 7-14 day or night shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts from 6a-6p or 6p-6a. Candidates must be board certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine and hold an active Kansas license. Emergency Medicine Doctor Schedule:
7-14 shifts per month; day or night shifts (6a-6p or 6p-6a) Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in a timely and efficient manner Stabilize patients and coordinate transfer when necessary Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Adhere to all protocols and guidelines for emergency medicine practice Additional Information Active Kansas medical license required Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) Prior experience in emergency medicine strongly preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
