Job Description

Oversee treatment of patients in the intensive care units with life-threatening conditions such as severe infections, trauma, organ failure, major surgery complications, and respiratory failure. Monitor patients closely, make rapid decisions about treatment, and coordinate a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists at night. Perform life-saving procedures such as central line placement, endotracheal intubations, mechanical ventilations, and emergent resuscitations.
Special skills or requirements:
Kansas medical license or eligible. Board certified/Board eligible Pulmonologist or Critical Care Medicine. Completed Internal Medicine Residency. Enrolled in Critical Care Fellowship.
