Neurologist

Job Description:

The Physician will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards, and delivering patient-centered care in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner. In addition to any contractual obligations owed by the physician to the organization, as well as any requirements established by employer's policies and/or procedures, the physician's duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following job duties.

• Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraines, and neuropathies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including

EEG, EMG, MRI, CT

scans, and lab work.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications or therapies.
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.

Special skills or requirements:

Kansas medical license or eligible for Kansas medical license. Board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Enrolled in Neurology Residency.
