Emergency Medicine Physician-Military Treatment Facility HJ Staffing - 4.8 Fort Campbell, KY Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Qualifications PALS Certification BLS Certification ACLS Certification Basic life support DEA License Medical License Emergency medicine Emergency room experience Full Job Description HJ Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide emergency medical services at a respected U.S. military treatment facility in Kentucky. This is an opportunity to care for active-duty service members, military families, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries in a fast-paced emergency department. This position offers a predictable contract schedule while providing meaningful work supporting those who serve our country. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency and urgent care patients. Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging studies. Stabilize and manage medical emergencies and traumatic injuries. Respond to Code Blue and other emergency situations. Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice. Document patient encounters in accordance with military and facility standards. Collaborate with nursing staff and specialty consultants. Review abnormal laboratory and imaging results and ensure appropriate follow-up. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with significant recent Emergency Medicine experience may also qualify. Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license. Current DEA registration. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Minimum one year of recent Emergency Medicine experience. U.S. Citizenship required. Schedule 8-12 hour shifts Mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Minimum night shift requirements
