Job Description
Your Opportunity Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our established cardiovascular team in Hazard, Kentucky. You will provide comprehensive cardiology services within a supportive, integrated system dedicated to improving heart health across Southeastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia. This position offers a unique chance to practice a broad scope of cardiovascular care, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a full range of cardiovascular conditions including ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, cardiac surgeons, and primary care providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regional cardiac care programs ________________________________________ Why ARH?
