Conduct physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and monitor growth and development. Develop treatment plans, including medications, immunizations, and health counseling. Coordinate with specialists across various pediatric and medical fields. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems like Athena, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, nutrition, and injury prevention. Stay current with medical coding, terminology, and pediatric trends.
Qualifications:
MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, valid medical license, strong communication skills, and experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
