N/A Join SCP Health - Locums to provide emergency care at Ochsner St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, LA. This locum tenens opportunity begins Aug 1, 2026 and is open-ended to cover a full-time vacancy. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are provided.
Practice details:
Facility:
5-bed emergency department at a critical access hospital
Volume:
~52 patients/day (~19,000 visits annually) with general emergency medicine presentations
Support:
On-site CT, MRI, ultrasound, ICU;
EPIC EMR
in use Credentials and compliance: Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Active Louisiana medical license, LA DEA and CDS required ACLS and ATLS required; PALS required for FM/IM (likely expected for all) Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically completes within 60 days
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive emergency care, stabilize and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries Manage patient flow for a high-volume critical access ED Document thoroughly in EPIC and coordinate care with specialty services
