Job Description
Join a growing post-acute care team as an inpatient hospitalist on Cape Cod, MA. This full-time position is facility-based, focused on inpatient/post-acute care with a Monday-Friday schedule (9:00 AM-5:00 PM), no weekends, and no call. Locations Barnstable/Cape Cod, MA (primary) Additional opportunities: North Conway, NH; Burlington and St. Albans, VT Schedule & Employment Types Monday-Friday, daytime hours No weekends, no call Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient/post-acute care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings Manage medically complex patients and coordinate transitions of care Develop and maintain long-term patient relationships Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facility staff Document care, complete required medical records, and participate in quality initiatives Travel between assigned facilities as needed Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or related specialty Active, unrestricted state medical license or eligibility for licensure DEA registration or eligibility to obtain Experience in hospital medicine, post-acute care, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or internal medicine preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills Commitment to patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed base compensation range: $200,000-$500,000+; most full-time physicians earn $300,000-$500,000 Productivity incentives with significant upside potential Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plans PTO and paid holidays CME allowance Malpractice insurance coverage Professional development and leadership opportunities
