Job Description
Our client in Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to begin an assignment on Dec 14, 2026. This role involves various shift durations including 12-hour, 8-hour, and 11-hour shifts. The Physician will handle a range of emergency cases such as low-risk chest pain, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and fracture and dislocation reduction, ensuring comprehensive patient care within the emergency department. Responsibilities and Duties Manage low-risk chest pain cases Perform laceration repair Conduct incision and drainage procedures Execute fracture and dislocation reduction Refrain from responding to codes; these are handled by a dedicated team Direct all deliveries to the Labor and Delivery department Additional Information Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required Experience with Meditech EHR system is essential Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
