Job Summary Plays an integral role in fostering the emotional, developmental, intellectual and physical wellbeing of children in the inpatient and outpatient setting by creating a welcoming and nurturing environment. Ensures the comfort of the patients and their families by demonstrating the basic principles of family-centered care and fostering positive hospital community relations. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Child Development required or Master's Degree Child Development preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Child Life Specialist [CCLS]- Association of Child Life Professionals Child Life Certification Commission preferred Experience related experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
