Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our vibrant healthcare team in Chestnut Hill, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a dynamic clinical environment. As a key member of our medical staff, you will deliver high-quality primary care services, foster strong patient relationships, and collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes. Your expertise will help promote wellness, prevent disease, and manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical history assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient health status Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive medicine, health coaching, and evidence-based treatments Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses utilizing advanced clinical judgment and diagnostic tools such as EMR/EHR systems and medical imaging Collaborate effectively with specialists across fields including cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, dermatology, psychiatry, and others to coordinate comprehensive patient care Utilize medical imaging and diagnostic radiology techniques to support accurate diagnosis and treatment strategies Educate patients on health maintenance, medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention strategies Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and ensure accurate CPT coding for billing purposes Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure to practice medicine in Massachusetts Completion of post-residency training or fellowship in family medicine or internal medicine with relevant inpatient or outpatient experience Proven experience utilizing EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic or similar systems for documentation and patient management Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis procedures across multiple specialties including cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, oncology, immunology, infectious disease care, and others listed in the skills set Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans or nuclear medicine reports Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in emergency medicine or critical care are advantageous Experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics; familiarity with inpatient experience is preferred Commitment to delivering exceptional patient service while adhering to HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing top-tier primary care that empowers patients toward healthier lives.
