Staff Psychiatrist, ton-Wellesley Hospital ton-Wellesley Hospital United States, Massachusetts, ton 2014 Washington Street (Show on map) May 14, 2026 Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist- ton-Wellesley Hospital ton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a community teaching hospital and proud member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system, is seeking a full-time Board Eligible or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Service. Located just outside Boston, ton-Wellesley Hospital offers the best of both worlds-an academic environment with the warmth and community feel of a smaller hospital. The 45-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit provides short-term stabilization and treatment in a multidisciplinary setting, serving patients from across the region.

Position Highlights:

Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care as part of a collaborative care team, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students and physician assistant students as part of our academic mission. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care. Enjoy access to the robust clinical and academic resources of Mass General Brigham. On-Call Coverage won't be a requirement.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills. Interest in teaching and working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Why ton?
