Job Description
LifeBridge Health seeks a PRN Physician to deliver high-quality, compassionate care across our Maryland facilities. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat diverse patient populations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate evidence-based treatment plans. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and document care in the EMR. Responsibilities Provide PRN physician coverage for assigned hospital or clinic units Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop evidence-based care plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with regulations Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals Document encounters and orders in the electronic medical record accurately and timely Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up plans to patients and families Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical protocols Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices Required Skills Patient assessment and clinical decision-making Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions Ordering and interpreting labs and imaging Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Medication management and prescribing Advanced life support procedures (e.g., ACLS skills) Care coordination and discharge planning Evidence-based medicine and clinical guidelines Interdisciplinary team collaboration Knowledge of hospital policies and regulatory standards
