About the Job PRN Neonatologist - MedStar Harbor Hospital MedStar Harbor Hospital , located in Baltimore, Maryland, and part of MedStar Health , is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologist to join our team in a PRN capacity , providing coverage for our Level II Special Care Nursery and well-baby nursery . This is an excellent opportunity for a Neonatologist seeking flexible coverage opportunities in a collaborative, community-based setting while benefiting from the resources and support of the MedStar Health system. About Our Neonatal Program MedStar Harbor Hospital welcomes more than 1,000 newborns each year and is home to a 10-bed Level II Special Care Nursery , with approximately 150 admissions annually . Our team provides specialized care for premature and medically complex newborns, including infants with prematurity up to 32 weeks or 1,500 grams, respiratory distress, complications of transition, infection, feeding difficulties, and neonatal withdrawal. Neonatologists provide care in both the Level II Special Care Nursery and well-baby nursery , attend deliveries, provide neonatal resuscitation, and stabilize newborns requiring transfer to a higher level of care. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, family-centered care and encourages parents to be active participants in their baby's care.
