Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and versatile
LOCUM TENENS CONSULTANTS
across multiple specialties, including Cardiology, Pain Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN), and General Practice. This dynamic role offers flexible, temporary assignments designed to meet healthcare facilities' immediate staffing needs. As a locum tenens provider, you will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless clinical operations in diverse settings. Your expertise will help maintain continuity of care while providing valuable support to healthcare organizations facing staffing shortages or special project demands. This position is fully paid and provides an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical experience across various environments. Duties Provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans within your specialty area Conduct medical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests such as medical imaging and laboratory results Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including nurses, specialists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes Manage patient care documentation accurately using EMR/EHR systems like CERNER platforms Perform specialized procedures relevant to your field, such as cardiac catheterization, botulinum toxin treatments, or suturing Participate in inpatient or outpatient care settings, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols Assist in triage and acute care management for urgent cases in emergency or trauma center environments Available to provide on call coverage Experience Possess a primary medical AND specialist qualification registered in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa or Jamaica, together with a minimum of three (3) years postgraduate experience in the specialty Post-residency experience in your respective specialty is required; prior locum tenens experience is a plus but not mandatory Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as CERNER or comparable platforms for documentation and patient management Strong background in healthcare diagnosis, medical terminology, and clinical research practices relevant to your specialty Experience with inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or trauma centers enhances readiness for diverse assignments Knowledge of advanced procedures like cardiac catheterization, neurocritical care, or interventional radiology is highly desirable Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques including CT scans or nuclear medicine contributes to comprehensive patient assessments Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments while maintaining high standards of patient service and safety Join us as a locum tenens consultant and make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional care across a variety of specialties!
