This is a hospital-employed OB Hospitalist position built for a physician who wants consistent shift-based work, a strong team around them, and the stability of a nationally recognized, independent health system. The Role Hospital-employed position with 24/7 in-house OB coverage Full-time schedule of 7 24-hour shifts per 4-week block Responsibilities include attending deliveries for assigned and unassigned patients, OB triage and patient evaluation, management of unassigned obstetric patients, surgical assist, fetal monitoring, and ER OB call coverage Collaborative OB/GYN team supported by experienced nursing and clinical staff Teaching opportunities available as the system launches a new School of Osteopathic Medicine and expands residency programs Compensation and Benefits Base salary of $360,000, with a shift pay rate of $4,285 across 84 shifts annually $50,000 sign-on bonus Health, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options Retirement plan with employer match PTO accruing from day one Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability Free financial planning sessions You'll Need MD or DO from an accredited program Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one Current DEA license Life in Hagerstown Hagerstown sits at the crossroads of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, offering a lower cost of living, easy access to the outdoors, and a straightforward commute.
