Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care :

Provide anesthesia services in the EP lab, focusing on independent cases such as various ablations and device placements. Assist with General OR cases as needed, especially if the EP lab is being medically directed by a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. Ensure the highest standard of care for patients undergoing both routine and complex procedures.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday shifts in the EP lab with no on-call responsibilities during the week. Weekend coverage required in the General OR, including Saturday and Sunday day shifts (7a-7p) and backup call from the hotel during night shifts (7p-7a). Participate in holiday coverage, including major holidays like New Years Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Practice Setting :

Focus on inpatient anesthesia services in a hospital setting. Collaborate closely with Cardiac Anesthesiologists for complex cases while maintaining autonomy in the EP lab. Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient records and communications.

Certification and Licensing :

Must be board-certified in Anesthesiology. Eligible candidates should hold an active license to practice in Maryland or be eligible for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience :

At least one year of experience in an inpatient anesthesia setting is preferred. Strong clinical skills in managing both EP lab and general OR cases.

Licensing :

Must be licensed to practice in Maryland or eligible for licensure through IMLC.

Technical Skills :

Proficient in using the Epic EMR system for patient management and documentation.

Certifications :
