Job Description

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible Obesity Medicine Physician. The successful candidate will join the Family Medicine and Weight Management practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work in a very collegial atmosphere working alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. This position offers:

Qualifications MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment. Board Certification/Eligibility Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives and quality incentives. The annual base salary for this position is $275,000. Belfast, Maine , is a scenic coastal community in the heart of a four-season recreation area. Surrounded by both lakes and the ocean, Belfast is a haven for boating, swimming, fishing, ATV trail riding, and sailing. The nearby mountains provide hiking and mountain biking with vista views of Penobscot Bay and our neighboring Island communities.
