Job Description

MaineHealth, the largest health care system in Maine, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a team of 6 gastroenterologists and 3 advanced care providers in its Southern Region, in Biddeford, ME. In addition to providing inpatient and outpatient consultation at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Biddeford , a non-profit, full-service community hospital with 160 acute care beds, there are opportunities to provide clinical instruction to students from the University of New England and Tufts University medical schools, internal medicine residents and advanced practice providers. Additional opportunities include joining the core faculty for a GI fellowship and participating in clinical research activities through the MaineHealth Institute for Research. This position offers competitive pay with RVU incentives; a generous recruitment payment bonus; relocation expenses and a generous benefit package including paid time off, a 403B pension plan as well as other perks. This is an outstanding opportunity to live and practice in beautiful, coastal Maine. The area provides four season recreational opportunities, including skiing, hiking, boating, biking, and miles of beautiful beaches.
