Job Description
Description This contract position offers the opportunity to work on-site in a fast-paced medical practice environment, providing critical care to patients in need. As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in our emergency department, responding to acute medical situations and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving health outcomes and ensuring prompt and effective treatment for diverse medical emergencies. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical assessments and treatments for patients in emergency situations Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans Stabilize patients and perform necessary procedures Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Document patient care effectively and accurately Participate in training and supervision of medical residents and staff Manage administrative duties related to patient care and department operations Adhere to medical protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality care Requirements MD degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Emergency Medicine Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in emergency medicine Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
