$364000.00 - $415000.00 A respected, integrated healthcare system is seeking a Chief of Hospital Medicine to lead and grow its hospital medicine program across three hospitals in scenic central Maine. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced hospitalist who enjoys both clinical practice and physician leadership while making a system-wide impact. Position Highlights 80% clinical / 20% administrative leadership role Lead a team of 22 employed hospitalists, APPs, and per diem providers Strategic oversight of hospital medicine across three hospitals Traditional hospitalist practice with no routine procedures required Flexible leadership schedule built around a 7-on/7-off clinical model Opportunity to shape staffing models, quality initiatives, and physician engagement Visa sponsorship available (J-1 & H-1B) Competitive income with $25,000 sign on bonus Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Prior hospital medicine leadership experience preferred Eligible for Maine medical licensure About the Community Live and work in beautiful central Maine, where you'll enjoy four-season recreation, picturesque lakes and mountains, affordable living, 45 minutes from Portland and 2 hours' drive to Boston.
