September 14-October 15, 2026 Northern L ight A.R. Gould Hospital seeks a per diem, BC/BE Hematologist / Medical Oncologist to join our Cancer Care Center in Presque Isle, Maine . In this hospital-employed role, you will join a collegial team of experienced Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Radiation Oncologists, and a full ancillary support staff. With flexible scheduling options, have plenty of time to enjoy all that Northern Maine has to offer!

Position Highlights :

Up to 12 weeks a year, advanced scheduling with 1-to-2-week assignments available Mon-Fri, daytime hours with no call requirement Oncology nurse navigation services Weekly multidiscipline tumor board Collegial environment with unified commitment to exceptional patient care Travel Reimbursement Malpractice insurance on claims-made basis with tail coverage provided

Compensation Information:

$276.15 hourly rate. The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.
