N/A Seeking a board-certified Physician Assistant to provide inpatient and outpatient adult hematology/oncology care in Rockport, ME. This locum tenens assignment begins Oct 1, 2026 and continues ongoing. Schedule is four 10-hour days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are provided.
Clinical responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality assessments, follow-up visits, and symptom management for adult hematology/oncology patients (average daily volume: 8-12). Order, manage, and monitor chemotherapy regimens in collaboration with supervising physicians. Coordinate care with nursing, IV therapy, and pharmacy teams. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic.
Requirements:
Board certified (BC) — required. Active Maine (ME) license. Experience in hematology/oncology, including inpatient hematology, chemotherapy ordering, and proficiency with Epic EMR. Hospital privileges required.
