Job Description
Physician - Nocturnist Hospitalist Description MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital, a 106-bed full-service hospital, is seeking a full-time nocturnist to join our experienced and collaborative team. This is a night-shift position that requires coverage in the ICU. Pen Bay Hospital is a full-service community hospital, committed to delivering high-quality care across more than 30 specialty areas. Pen Bay has been nationally recognized for excellence in quality, safety, and patient care, including an "A" grade in the 2025 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and designation as a Top Rural Hospital by The Leapfrog Group. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance and quality incentives. The annual base salary for this position is $339,250. Desired Qualifications & Experience Education/Training:
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
