Job Description
A community hospital in a picturesque coastal town in Northern New England is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join its established and collaborative care team. This full-time, outpatient-focused role offers a rare opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient-centered environment with minimal inpatient responsibilities. Position Highlights
- Outpatient-only neurology - no hospital or stroke call
- Procedural focus: EMGs and Botox for migraines (highly sought service)
- Bread-and-butter neurology: Headache, epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, MS, muscle disease, sleep disorders
- Clinic-based EMG lab - all studies performed on-site
- Strong support staff: Dedicated MAs, APPs, and an administrative team
- Flexible schedule: Typically 1 admin day/week; current MD alternates full and short weeks for long weekends
Volume:
14-16 patients/day (60-min new, 30-min follow-up) Practice Structure- 1 Full-Time Neurologist
- 1 Part-Time NP + 2 Part-Time MDs (transitioning out once new hire starts)
- Recruiting a Full-Time Neurologist and a new NP to expand capacity

Neurology Department:
7 physicians across the system, all outpatient-focused- Advanced capabilities: Level III Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with ambulatory and long-term video EEG
