08/19/2026 Job Description Job Description Locums Cardiology Physician in Alpena, Michigan - Flexible Schedule, Fast Credentialing Choose one to two weeks per month in a general cardiology assignment that blends outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and procedural work. This long-term opportunity offers flexibility with an easy call schedule. Highlights One to two weeks per month scheduling Fast credentialing Easy 1:2 call schedule Open to IMLC physicians Practice & Cases Outpatient clinic combined with inpatient rounding and cardiac testing interpretation General cardiology with invasive experience preferred but not required Diagnostic catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, and loop implant procedures based on experience Approximately 18 clinic patients and 7 to 10 inpatient encounters per day Schedule Monday through Friday, 8-hour days Two weeks per month preferred; one week per month considered Weeknight and weekend call rotation Long-term monthly coverage Requirements Must be an MD or DO Active Michigan license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Cardiology ACLS and BLS required Logistics Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed Travel accommodations provided for eligible physicians We'd be happy to discuss how the one- to two-week monthly schedule and general cardiology case mix could fit your availability.
