Fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology, with advanced training or significant experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology, and eligibility for a Michigan medical license. The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan is expanding its pediatric cardiac faculty and inviting applications for congenital cardiac anesthesiologists at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Mott has been ranked the #1 children's hospital in Michigan for 19 consecutive years and is nationally ranked in 10 pediatric specialties. An international referral center for complex congenital heart disease, the Mott Congenital Heart Center is one of the largest and best pediatric heart programs in the United States. The department has an active ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and an advanced congenital cardiac anesthesiology fellowship. Our team cares for the entire spectrum of pediatric cardiac disease, including single-ventricle physiology, complex neonates, CPB, VADs, ECMO, transplantation, and catheter-based interventions including hybrid palliations. Faculty practice at a major academic medical center while living in Ann Arbor, a college town consistently ranked among the best places to live in the country, with excellent schools, a strong arts and culinary scene, abundant outdoor recreation, and easy access to Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
