Provides psychiatric and medical services to children and/or adults served by programs of Easterseals. Performs biological and psychosocial assessments including psychiatric evaluation, annual psychiatric assessment, physical assessment, and referral. Makes diagnoses and develops recommendations regarding treatment. Participates for the review and monitoring of consumer medication plans. Implements crisis evaluation of children and/or adults who may be in need of hospitalization or who may need medication to avoid hospitalization. Contributes certification for the involuntary commitment and hospitalization of adult mental health consumers. Administers clinical supervision and consultation to clinical staff for quality, efficient and cost effective coordination of treatment, continuing care, and support services.
