Job Description

Seeking a Medical Director/Attending Physician to provide clinical leadership and deliver care in skilled nursing facilities in Escanaba, MI. Full-time role partnering with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage post-acute and long-term care patients. Location options
Primary:
Escanaba, Michigan Additional facility opportunities: Howell and Traverse City, MI; Kansas; Missouri; North Carolina; Wisconsin Key responsibilities Provide patient-centered medical care and clinical oversight across assigned skilled nursing facilities Collaborate with NPs and PAs for care planning and follow-up Lead clinical quality initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance Complete documentation and communicate with facility staff and families Schedule and clinical workload Full-time, flexible scheduling Typical coverage: each facility 1-2 days per week No fixed daily start/end times; no call; no overnight shifts Average 18-25 patient visits per day Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation Compensation and benefits Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus potential Up to $50,000 long-term retention incentive Paid time off 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance (eligible physicians) Employer-paid life insurance; short- and long-term disability (eligible physicians) CME allowance and licensure reimbursement Company-provided iPad with LTE and professional lab coat Qualifications MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license or eligibility for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, PM&R, or Emergency Medicine Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply To apply or request more information, please respond with your CV and preferred location.
