Munson Healthcare is seeking a Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician to provide nursery call coverage at the following Munson Healthcare locations: OMH and Grayling. This unique opportunity offers flexibility for those looking for per diem or ancillary work. The physician who provides nursery call coverage will be reimbursed for food, travel, and all lodging expenses incurred during a call shift.
Position Duties/Highlights Include:
Minimum of 3 24-hour shifts per monthMileage reimbursementLodging reimbursement upon approval if outside "home" locationNewborn nursery call providers must be within 30 miles of hospitalProviders are credentialed at all possible sites and must go where assigned
Standard Qualifications:
Provider routine newborn care
NRPSTABLE
recommendedEstablish access (UVC preferred, IV acceptable, IO emergent)Ventilate (NIPPV, neopuff or bag) (mandatory)Endotracheal intubation skillset (preferred)
Education/Training:
MD or DOSuccessful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.
