Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD)
Shift:
Days — 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through
Friday Call Schedule:
Q3 call (every third weekday and every third weekend)
Call Ratio:
1 out of 3
Interventional Radiologists Average Cases Per Day:
~8
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based, Level I trauma designation
IR Team:
3 physicians + 2 APPs (Manager and two APPs supporting IR team)
Patient Population:
Primarily Adult (frequent Geriatric)
Procedures Required:
angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, UFE (uterine fibroid embolization)
Additional Preferred Procedures:
orthopedic, gynecologic, urology cases
Documentation System/EMR:
Not specified
Requirements:
BC in
IR, Active MI License, BLS, ACLS Credentialing:
Estimated 90 days (will fast-track for ASAP need)
