Physician (MD or DO) - Dysphagia Diagnostics CDX Care Livonia, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $500 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Medicare Diagnostic radiology Documentation tools Organizational skills Medical License Technical Proficiency Time management Mobile devices Full Job Description Job Summary Comprehensive Dysphagia Diagnostic Care (CDX Care) is a specialized dysphagia diagnostics company providing onsite Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) to post-acute care providers and healthcare organizations through the use of portable diagnostic technology. By bringing advanced swallowing diagnostics directly to patients in their care setting, we improve access to care, reduce transportation barriers, and deliver timely, high-quality clinical services. We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing dysphagia diagnostics team in Michigan. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and clinical support staff while providing medical oversight and physician interpretation services for onsite swallowing diagnostics. Physicians receive fluoroscopy training and CME support as required for the role. Prior fluoroscopy experience is not required. The ideal candidate values patient-centered care, collaboration, professionalism, and the opportunity to work in a flexible, low-stress clinical environment focused on improving patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform patient history and physical assessments to ensure diagnostic studies can be safely conducted Provide medical oversight during onsite Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Participate in the operation of portable fluoroscopic equipment following company protocols and applicable regulatory requirements Provide physician interpretation and documentation of Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS) findings Complete accurate and timely documentation using company-provided technology Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, facility personnel, and other healthcare professionals Maintain compliance with Medicare guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations Contribute to a positive, professional experience for patients and facility partners Qualifications MD or DO licensed to practice in Michigan Medicare and Medicaid credentialed or eligible for credentialing Ability to pass required background screening Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Proficient with technology and comfortable utilizing electronic documentation systems and mobile devices Experience working with adult and geriatric populations preferred Prior experience in radiology, otolaryngology (ENT), physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), geriatrics, or related specialties is a plus Benefits Flexible schedule Malpractice coverage provided Low-stress, non-emergency clinical environment No weekends No on-call responsibilities Fluoroscopy-related CME and training support provided Opportunity to help build a growing clinician-led organization Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time Weekday hours Schedule determined by patient volume and availability Typical workday: 8:00 AM - 4:30
