Position:
Henry Ford Health is seeking an accomplished and passionate leader to serve as the Division Director for Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI). This is a remarkable opportunity to oversee a prestigious and expanding academic-affiliated reproductive medicine program dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, innovative treatments, and leading-edge research. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, foster clinical excellence, and mentor a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary clinical and administrative leadership for the REI division, driving strategic growth and program development. Oversee clinical operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality outpatient reproductive endocrinology and infertility services. Perform diagnostic evaluations and deliver advanced fertility treatments and procedures, including minimally invasive and assisted reproductive techniques. Lead initiatives in quality improvement, clinical standards, and patient safety to uphold the highest standards of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, embryologists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Participate in strategic planning, research, and educational initiatives to advance the division's reputation and capabilities. Manage clinic operations with an emphasis on efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and patient satisfaction. Engage in call coverage and weekend rotations as determined by departmental leadership. Ensure adherence to institutional, state, and national standards of care, including maintaining current Board Certification.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility; candidates with active certification preferred. Proven leadership experience in an academic or clinical reproductive medicine setting. Demonstrated expertise in reproductive endocrinology, infertility diagnostics, and fertility treatments. Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills. Ability to lead program development, research initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
VMS Certification Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support) and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certifications are required.
Additional Information:
Not currently open to locum tenens or candidates requiring re-certification. Candidates preferring long-term commitment within a daily commute of less than an hour preferred; remote or multi-job arrangements are not suitable. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
