Job Description

We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for an 80-day assignment in Michigan, beginning Sep 14, 2026. This position involves 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) within a high-volume emergency department and a dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. The successful candidate will focus on stabilizing pediatric and adult trauma cases, working collaboratively with advanced practice providers. Responsibilities and Duties Collaborate with first assist APPs. Support a primary stroke center. Provide care in a high-volume emergency department. Manage cases within a 10-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. Work within a Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. Utilize APP support for rounding during the week; manage rounding independently on weekends. Focus solely on inpatient responsibilities with no clinic duties. Manage pediatric cases, focusing on stabilization, and adult trauma cases.
