Job Description

Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Specializing in interventional radiology, this position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled IR Tech to play a vital role in procedures requiring advanced imaging. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment supporting providers in both angio and neuro interventional procedures. This contract assignment is set for 13 weeks.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (5x8 hour shifts) On-call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 3rd to 5th week, as dictated by staffing
Qualifications:
BLS certification required ARRT(R) certification is essential Minimum of 2 years' experience as an IR Tech with a strong focus on angio and neuro procedures Proficient in sterile fluid preparation and providing support to providers during interventional procedures Familiarity with Siemans Biplane equipment is a plus Flexibility and reliability for taking call shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiological and technical skills utilizing C-arm and other fluoroscopy equipment to produce quality imaging for diagnostic and interventional purposes Demonstrate detailed anatomy on fluoroscopic screens during procedures Assist physicians by scrubbing in on cases, supporting complex interventions Contribute to sterile field and maintain safety protocols throughout all procedures Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
