Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our client in MO for an 8-day assignment beginning Oct 16, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services, including general CV/thoracic surgeries, complex cardiac and vascular procedures, and managing patients on a 24-hour call schedule. Responsibilities and Duties Perform general CV/thoracic surgery Conduct open and endoscopic procedures Perform coronary artery bypass surgery, both on pump and off pump Repair congenital defects such as ASD, VSD, and PFO Execute valvular repair and replacement Perform cardiac and aorto-thoracic aneurysm repair Conduct lung resections, including VATs Manage chest wall or pleural procedures Perform esophagus and diaphragm surgeries Place permanent pacemakers Implant Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillators (AICD) Manage Left ventricular assist devices Perform TAVR procedures Conduct CABG surgeries Provide ventilation management Perform bronchoscopy Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues Insert Central lines Insert Arterial lines Insert PA catheters Insert IABP Perform general vascular surgery, both open and endovascular Conduct aorto-abdominal aneurysm repair Execute bypass procedures including aorto-femoral/iliac and fem-pop Perform endarterectomy procedures, including carotid, renal, and subclavian steal procedures Additional Information Board Certified in
