Mercy Clinic in Joplin, Missouri, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing practice. This General Surgeon opportunity offers a quick ramp-up period and the ability to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Practice Highlights Join two experienced General Surgeons and 2 APP's Position available due to a General Surgeon leaving. (Quick ramp-up period) Practice at one location: Mercy Hospital Joplin , with optional outreach Call 1:4, 1 weekend/month general surgery call. Trauma and Acute Care Surgery is covered by a separate group. APP support provided after ramp-up period Breast Surgery is required and will be shared with a general surgery partner. Experienced clinic support and fully staffed OR Block time consists of 1-2 days a week on main campus. Additional OR block times in sister hospitals (Galena, Carthage, and Pittsburg) may also be available Access to two Da Vinci robots Robotic training/experience preferred Preferred candidate will be comfortable with EGD/Colo/Trach/PEG's Interest/Skills in endocrine surgery (thyroids and adrenals) or colorectal is a plus
