Gastroenterologist Opportunity - Marshall, Missouri American Medical Administrators (AMA) is a multi-location healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our growing healthcare team in Marshall, Missouri . This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while building a rewarding practice in a welcoming South Georgia community. Position Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD). Manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Provide colorectal cancer screening and preventive GI care. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up. Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, nutrition, and preventive health. Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Current, unrestricted Georgia medical license or eligibility.
