Job Description

Locums Cardiovascular Surgery coverage in Missouri with inpatient service and shared call over the holiday window, working alongside a well-supported heart team and dedicated CV OR resources. Highlights Holiday coverage need with options to extend into early January Established program volumes, about 130 CABG annually, TAVR volume is similar Strong procedural support, dedicated CV OR team with anesthesia, perfusion, and CVICU support Shared call model Practice Setting Inpatient cardiovascular surgery coverage Collaborative heart team includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 General Cardiologists, 1 Electrophysiologist, and 2 Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons Works closely with cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, and intensive care specialists Dedicated CV OR team support, including anesthesia, perfusion, and CVICU Schedule Holiday coverage starting mid December with options to extend into early January Scheduled clinical hours, 6 to 8 hours per day Inpatient coverage with call, shared call structure Credentialing timeframe, 30 to 60 days Cases and Procedures Adult cardiac and vascular surgical procedures General thoracic surgery experience is valuable Program volume context, about 130 CABG annually, TAVR volume is similar Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ Missouri license required, will wait for license with active
