N/A Join a busy inpatient team in Springfield, Missouri as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant providing clinical support under anesthesiologist medical direction. This is a locum tenens opportunity that starts ASAP and continues on an ongoing basis. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., working 10-hour days within a 4:1 medical direction model. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency. What you'll be doing Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Manage a varied and often complex caseload that includes neuro, spine, ENT, electrophysiology, obstetrics, interventional cardiology, and pediatric cases. Perform advanced procedures such as arterial line placement, endotracheal intubation, and ventilator management. Keep accurate case logs for credentialing and review. Facility and patient details

Springfield, MO 65804 Service setting: Inpatient Daily volume: Approximately 135 cases (includes L&D, endoscopy, cardiac, EP, MRI/CT) Department capacity: 17 operating rooms
EMR:
Epic Specialty backup: Operates under a 4:1 medical direction model with anesthesiologist oversight Qualifications Board status: Board eligible Required experience: Prior experience managing complex neuro, spine, ENT, EP, and pediatric cases Required skills: Proficiency with arterial lines, intubations, and ventilator management Hospital privileges: Temporary or full hospital privileges are not available for this assignment Why this role might be a good fit You'll work a predictable weekday schedule while gaining experience across a broad and challenging case mix.
