Job Description
Seeking BE/BC Neurologist to join one other experienced Neurologist in a thriving practice in south central MO. Preferred candidate will be interested in general neurology, but subspecialties are welcome as long as the candidate is willing to do some general neurology. Level II Stroke Center Tele-stroke is available through Washington University in St. Louis, reducing call to a reasonable amount. Practice includes reading of nerve conductions, EEGs and performance of EMG. Support staff includes 2 EEG/Nerve Conduction Study techs The area is in an underserved area and we do accept J1 and H1B applicants. We are also located in the Delta Regional Authority which has no limit on J1 waivers and there is no waiver application deadline. Join an accredited regional referral facility, servicing approximately 180,000 population in a nine-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. Over 100 active physicians are on the medical staff comprised of half primary care and half specialists. A number of services not normally found in rural areas are provided. For example, we have exceptionally strong programs in areas of interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic and general surgery. Additionally, hospital provides medical and radiation oncology services and has extensive outreach programs.
