This established medical center provides comprehensive pediatric and neonatal care services to the surrounding community. The facility features a 10-bed department with strong support systems in place to ensure quality patient care and a positive working environment for locum providers.

Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Job Details:
Provide neonatal and perinatal medicine services with 3-5 patient encounters per shift Manage Level
III NICU
patients requiring advanced neonatal care Perform and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation including ETT, BiPAP/CPAP, and nitric oxide (iNO) therapy for both newborn and pediatric patients, including acute and chronic cases Perform neonatal and pediatric intubation (ETT/NT); pediatric intubation preferred Insert and manage central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters Place hemodialysis catheters and perform UVC and UAC procedures Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and needle pneumothorax decompression Perform exchange transfusions Attend high-risk C-sections as required Provide X-ray and EKG interpretation Perform suturing of minor lacerations Conscious and deep sedation preferred PALS certification required Must hold an active Mississippi license or IMLC Board certification required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 7 days Nearest airports include
