Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated healthcare professional to join our team in the role of Clinical Specialist at our vibrant healthcare facility. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and operation of advanced medical imaging equipment such as CT scanners, nuclear medicine devices, and fluoroscopy units. Support clinicians during complex procedures including catheterizations, neurocritical care interventions, and interventional radiology treatments. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure accurate documentation of patient data, treatment plans, and clinical research activities. Conduct patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS) to ensure safety during inpatient and outpatient procedures. Facilitate patient care activities such as wound care, ostomy management, and post-operative recovery in various settings including hospital units like PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) and ICU. Implement infection control protocols adhering to HIPAA standards while maintaining high-quality patient service and confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as endocrinology, obstetrics & gynecology (Ob/Gyn), pediatrics, oncology, and rehabilitation services to optimize treatment plans. Skills Extensive experience with medical imaging modalities including CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology. Proficiency in using EHR/EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and clinical workflow management. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and specialized fields like cardiology, neurology, nephrology, and pulmonology. Skilled in performing procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, gastric lavage, spinal taps, and ventilator management. Ability to operate advanced medical equipment related to interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization labs, and respiratory therapy devices. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care for diverse populations including neonatal ventilator management and senior care. Familiarity with hospital protocols including triage processes, discharge planning, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and infection control standards.
