Job Description
Join a growing, hospital-employed team in Great Falls, MT as a nocturnist in a collaborative and well-respected hospitalist program. This full-time role offers a balanced 15-on/15-off schedule, modern facilities, and robust specialty support—an excellent chance to practice at a state-of-the-art medical center with an open ICU and a culture that values physician well-being and professional growth. What the role looks like Full-time, hospital-employed position with a 15-on / 15-off nocturnist schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). You'll work alongside a dedicated nocturnist colleague and a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician. Telemedicine Critical Care/Pulmonology and on-call specialists provide additional support. Procedure experience is preferred but not required. The day team includes two physicians and two nurse practitioners, offering continuity and teamwork. Typical hospitalist daily census averages 15 patients, with a 1:5 nursing-to-patient ratio adjusted for acuity. You'll have access to modern diagnostics and technology to support efficient, high-quality care. Hospital features 36-bed acute care hospital with full specialty backup. 10-bed open ICU. Two catheterization labs and an eight-bed pre/post-procedure unit. Five operating rooms plus a four-room ambulatory surgery center. Five dedicated observation beds. Eight-bed Emergency Department staffed by experienced, responsive clinicians. Compensation & benefits Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package. Sign-on and retention bonuses. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Eligible for Montana medical licensure. Comfort with hospital procedures is preferred.
