Category Imaging - Interventional Radiology Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced healthcare professional to support interventional radiology services. This contract role is ideal for candidates skilled in both imaging and nursing within an interventional radiology setting, ensuring high standards of patient care and technical excellence.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology (imaging and RN responsibilities) Advanced understanding of interventional procedures, sterile technique, and radiology protocols Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Critical thinking skills and the ability to act quickly in emergent situations Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Assist in the delivery of interventional radiology procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-procedural care Monitor patient status, administer medications, and provide detailed procedural documentation Operate and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment, ensuring correct imaging protocols are followed Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Ensure safety and infection control standards are maintained throughout all procedures Provide education and emotional support to patients and families before, during, and after procedures Adhere to all facility and regulatory policies This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern clinical environment with a highly skilled radiology team.
