Other Qualifications:
Must be vaccinated. Must be credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled with PECOS. Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage for general orthopedic surgery, including emergency department coverage. Manage consults (0-3 per day) and provide medical management for orthopedic patients. Perform ED visits for closed reductions, admissions, and surgical procedures (wrist, ankle, and hip fractures; I&D). Stabilize and transfer long bone trauma as necessary. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the MediTech EMR system.
