Family Medicine Physician Part-Time Outpatient Opportunity Gatesville & Elizabeth City A respected North Carolina Medical Center is actively seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine) for an employed outpatient position serving two established clinic locations in beautiful northeastern North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible schedule, strong hourly compensation, and a quality-of-life focused practice environment. Position Highlights Employed position•onsite only (no locums) No call responsibilities No OB required Flexible 2½-day work week Practice at two clinic locations Competitive compensation: $132/hour Malpractice coverage provided Immediate opening•start ASAP North Carolina participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact for expedited physician licensing
Schedule Gatesville Monday:
9:00 AM•6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Elizabeth City Tuesday:
9:00 AM•6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Gatesville Wednesday:
9:00 AM•1:00 PM Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care for adult and pediatric patients Deliver high-quality outpatient medical care and continuity of care Dedicated administrative time included for: Charting Patient follow-up Care coordination Onsite clinical coverage only•no telemedicine or remote work Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or related primary care specialty Must obtain board certification/eligibility within 24 months of residency completion Active North Carolina medical license in good standing (or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) No active malpractice claims or derogatory NPDB history Compensation & Benefits $132/hour paid bi-weekly Estimated biweekly earnings: $5,280 Malpractice insurance coverage included Enjoy a rewarding outpatient practice with excellent work-life balance while serving welcoming North Carolina communities.
