Description This on-site, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. As part of the medical practice industry, our team is dedicated to clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes. In this associate-level role, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine Perform and assist with cardiac procedures within the scope of credentialing Collaborate with primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain thorough and accurate patient medical documentation Provide patient education on heart health, preventive care, and lifestyle management Participate in on-call rotations and respond to cardiac emergencies Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for state licensure) Associate-level clinical experience in cardiology or a related field Strong diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
