Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 66-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, beginning Jul 20, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, including call, nights, and weekends, where you will manage ED consults, GYN services, emergent gynecologic surgeries, and labor and delivery, while also responding to codes and providing ER backup. Responsibilities and Duties Manage a volume of approximately 10 surgical cases per month. Respond to codes as required. Serve as backup to the ER, covering ED consults. Perform required procedures including Cesarean delivery, D&C (obstetric and gynecologic), Diagnostic and Operative laparoscopy, and urgent/emergent gynecologic cases. Provide GYN service, manage emergent GYN surgeries, and oversee labor and delivery during shifts. Participate in shared call schedules with other OB/GYN Generalists and a Certified Nurse Midwife. Handle an average inpatient census of 50, with approximately 10 admissions per day and 5 admissions per night.
