Job Description

Locum OB/GYN - 24-Hour Call Coverage North Carolina Client facility is seeking OB/GYN locums for ongoing 24-hour call coverage . This is a long-term opportunity with no set dates ; 7 on / 7 off preferred .
Position Details Schedule:
24-hour call (7a-7a)
Call Type:
Off-site call (no in-house requirement)
Response Time:
Must arrive on-site within 25 minutes if called

Athena Coverage Needs:
Ongoing throughout the year Call Responsibilities Physician is called on-site only for: Requests from CNMs , ED , or consulting physicians Cesarean and antepartum patients (no MFM on site) Select maternal transports VBACs are referred out. CNMs independently manage routine OB patients and deliveries. Expected On-Site Time (Avg)
Consults:
<90 minutes
D&C:
~1 hour
C-section/laparoscopy:
up to 2 hours Typically <6 hours on-site per 24-hour shift Expenses Hotel, travel and flights provided. Occurrence Form Professional Liability coverage provided Requirements
BC/BE OB/GYN NC
license (or ability to obtain)
